Information we collect
Specific Personal Information: When you fill in the ask for demo, contact us, email subscription or any other form on this website you are sharing personal information to assist us in reaching you now or in the future through phone, email or other methods for the purposes of marketing our products and services to you or your company. This is purely voluntary and is required to transact business with us in any meaningful way. If you wish to remove yourself from this contact database later you may send a mail to info@itanimo.com with the requested information to be removed.
Some forms on our website may be protected by Google reCAPTCHA. This technology relies on heuristics that are based on technical characteristics of your browser and device, and may also use specific Google cookies.
Company Data: When you upload, enter manually data in any AnimoRetail instance, this data will often include personal information, for example: your list of employees, your contacts and customers, your messages, transactions, product pictures, document scans etc. We only ever collect this information on your behalf, and you always retain ownership and full control on this data. We (i.e. ITAnimo) do not indulge in browsing this data other than to provide you some direct support on any ticket requested by you. We also have strong policies discouraging employees from downloading your data or browsing it. If you know of any such instance you may get in touch with your account manager and/or info@itanimo.com. You may also enable further logging of all activities done by your users to maintain audit trails of your users. You should notify your company’s users of this feature and take their permission before enabling this feature. You own this data in the same way as you own the data given in the application. Company data could be shared with 3rd party apps, pre-vetted or approved by you or your company representatives. Please verify their independent privacy policies before allowing them access to your company data.
App Usage Recording: When you use AnimoRetail, your usage may be recorded (e.g. click areas, difficult to reach areas, crash stats and reports checked). This is used in an aggregate way to improve the app. It is an opt-in feature and you can opt-out anytime you wish. This is especially true in cases where it is a free trial session. So do not store any sensitive information in the demo or trial system.
Browser provided data: If you have opted in for personalized advertising in Google or other browser or email systems: your interests, browser, location and public user information could be shared by cookies the browser directly. Cookies that we always use are Google cookies that provide options for further targeting ads to you personally. The information is not identifiable but is targetable.
If you have not accepted personalized advertising, you will not receive targeted advertising from us, but we will get anonymized and aggregated data about your usage of the website through cookies.
The Google cookies and our own session cookies are used to improve the website content and to improve our advertising.
